New Delhi: Chaitanya Tamhane’s Marathi film ‘Court’ has won award for the Best Feature Film in the 62nd National Film Awards announced on Tuesday.
Kangana Ranaut bagged the award for the Best Actress for her performance in the Bollywood movie ‘Queen’, while Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay won the Best Actor award for ‘Nanu Avanalla Avalu’.
Best Direction : Srijit Mukherji (Title: ‘Chotushkone’ , Language: Bengali)
Best Malayalam Film : Ain, directed by Sidhartha Siva
Jury’s Special Mention: Musthaf (‘Ain’)
Best Background Score award goes to Malayalam music composer Gopi Sunder (1983)
Indira Gandhi Award for the Best Debut Film of a director : Asha Jaoar Majhe
Best Popular Film : Mary Kom (Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Directed by Omung Kumar)
