Repolling likely in 4 booths in Kasaragod amid bogus voting; Visuals out

Kasaragod: Repolling in likely to be held reportedly in four booths in Kasaragod district where bogus voting was reported. It is learned that the chief electoral officer will give a final decision in this regard on Thursday.

Chief electoral officer is conducting discussions with central election commission on this.

The decision will be taken after discussions. UDF candidate Rajmohan Unnithan said that he welcomes the decision.

The news of bogus voting in Pilathara booth number 19 included in Kalliasseri Lok Sabha constituency was first revealed by Mathrubhumi News.

Following this, the election commission confirmed that bogus voting happened. It was also found that Muslim League has done bogus voting in 69 and 70 booths in Puthiyangadi.

CPM has done bogus voting in booth number 48 at Thrikkaripur. Repolling might be held on Sunday.
