VK Sreekandan tops the KPCC’s prospect list of candidate to be fielded against Rajesh in Palakkad

Palakkad: Palakkad is one of the most important constituencies that everyone looks forward into. The CPM has already started their campaign here with full fledge amid announcing MB Rajesh as its candidate.

Meanwhile, the Congress is yet to make a decision on whom to be fielded against a strong contender like Rajesh.

Though there are many names in the fray, District Congress Committee (DCC) President VK Sreekandan’s name is learned to have been submitted by the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) for the Palakkad seat.

Earlier MLA Shafi Parambil’s name was doing rounds but the speculations came to an end when the latter said that as he is serving as the current MLA, he does not intend to stand in the Lok Sabha elections.

With this it is being contemplated that the lot would fall for Sreekandan.

In the meanwhile, the DCC President is continuing his ‘Jai Ho’ without any hindrance. The walkathon’s 22nd day was inaugurated by Kongad KPCC Secretary Pazhakulam Madhu.
