Indian smartphone maker mPhone is set to unveil its flagship smartphone by mid of 2019. mPhone today officially announced its latest flagship model Nx5 in Wayanad, Kerala by Director Anto Augustine.
At first glance, Nx5 adopted the teardrop notch design for the latest flagship models although the existing ID design is different from the current models available in the market.
The major hardware upgrades of Nx5 from previous mPhone models take place in chipset and camera module.
Nx5 is one of the first few models in the market with the Mediatek’s latestHelio 5G Modem, M70. Nx5 features a 12MP +12MP dual rear camera based on Sony IMX 363 sensor. In addition to that, Nx5 now supports fast wireless charging.
At moment, mPhone offers three versions of Nx5: 6GB+128GB version, 4GB+64GB and 3GB+32GB version.
The phone will be launched by mid of 2019, both online and offline in India. We tend to believe that Nx5 will be the first India smartphone to be launched with 5G, but no specific plans were communicated in today’s press briefing by Augustine, Director, mPhone Electronics & Technologies Pvt Ltd.
