Kerala CM Pinarayi gives up plan to visit slain Youth Congress men’s houses

Kasaragod: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan who expressed his wish to meet the bereaved families during his trip to the district on Friday backed off at the eleventh hour following the advice of police and local CPM leaders.

The state is shocked by the two political murders and the Congress had claimed that its workers Sharathlal (Joshi) and Kripesh were hacked to death by CPM goons. Several CPM workers, including local committee member (now expelled) A Peethambaran, were arrested for the murders.

Earlier Kerala Revenue Minister E Chandrasekharan had visited the houses of the two murdered Youth Congress workers at Periya in Kasaragod.
