Jayarajan and Rajesh directed to murder MSF worker Ariyil Shukkoor, says CBI

Kannur: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) says it was P Jayarajan and T V Rajesh who directed to murder MSF worker Ariyil Shukkoor. The CBI mentioned this in its charge sheet submitted in Thalassery court, reported Mathrubhumi on Wednesday.

Earlier, the local police had registered case imposing section 118 (Concealing design to commit offence punishable with death or imprisonment for life) of IPC.

The local police had imposed conspiracy charges against the accused.

However, the CBI has now imposed sections 120 B (Punishment of criminal conspiracy) and 320 (Grievous hurt) of IPC against them. The CBI charge sheet states there are witnesses to the murder.

According to the CBI, four of the accused in the case (from 28 to 31), took part in the conspiracy.
