Reshma and Shanila makes a second attempt to visit Sabarimala again, but fail

Pamba: Two women, Reshma Nishanth and Shanila who had returned from Sabarimala the other day had again arrived for darshan but were forced to return from Nilakkal without Sabarimala temple visit on Saturday.

Both are natives of Kannur.

Police stated that they have made the women retreat from the attempt. Two women had arrived at Nilakkal by early morning. They had requested the police for protection.

Following this, police took them to control room and held talks for half an hour. Then, they were shifted from Nilakkal. Police have clarified that the women were asked to return. It is learnt that protesters have gathered at Pampa and its premises knowing about the arrival of young women. These two women had reached Sabarimala on last Wednesday also. But, police made them return due to mounting protests.
