Kozhikode: Janadhipathiya Rashtriya Sabha (JRS) led by tribal leader C K Janu left National Democratic Alliance (NDA). She made it clear that they are leaving the NDA as many of the promises offered to them were not fulfilled.
Janu also made it clear in a press conference held in Kozhikode that they are willing to hold discussions with any political front in future.
“We are willing to hold discussions with both UDF and LDF,” Janu said.
The demand to pass the Scheduled Area law has not been fulfilled yet. Though the issue was discussed with leaders including Amit Shah, no decision was taken. JRS was not considered to the positions in board and corporation. Not even meetings of NDA were held in Kerala for quite some time. Due to these reasons, the party has been conducting discussions for months about not continuing in NDA. The party continued with the front for all these time with a hope that some change will occur. We are willing to hold discussions with both UDF and LDF.
When asked about the Sabarimala issue, Janu said that it is presently under the consideration of the court, and would not like to respond on it.
