Thiruvananthapuram: Author S Harish and DC Books owner DC Ravi have decided to bring out controversial Malayalam novel “Meesha” (Moustache) in book format, which has been withdrawn from being serialised in Mathrubhumi Weekly following threats from Hindutva outfits.

Meanwhile as the news of the novel’s upcoming book form came out, DC Books authorities started receiving threats both online and by phone. The publisher said that same elements who had mounted online attack earlier were behind the latest threats too.

DC Ravi in a complaint filed with Kottayam East police station demanded strong action against people who had abused him and DC Books in foul language. He accused Krishnan Chuduvalathur hailing from Ottapalam of habitually posting defaming statements and threats on social media.
