All 3 interstate migrant workers escaped from Maoists’ captivity

Kalpettas: As search for Maoists in Wayanad is on full swing, all the three interstate migrant workers escaped from Maoists’ captivity. Bengal native Alavuddin was the last migrant worker to escape.

A group of armed Maoists took migrant workers Alavuddin, Kathim and Maqboor of Emerald estate at Kallady near Meppady in captivity on Friday.

It is learned that the Maoist gang included four people including a woman. One worker had fled the incident right away.
