Thiruvananthapuram: Sexual atrocities against women and children are a matter of rising concern in the country. To add to the latest episode, a transwoman who was traveling from Ernakulam to Kottayam in Nizamuddin Express had to suffer the dilemma after a man approached her for indulging in a sexual act that too in a running train.

Avanthika Vishnu, a Kottayam native though contacted the Railway police for help, nobody received her call nor did they called her back. Left with no choice she took the matter to social media by going live on her facebook profile which went viral and had about 10,000 views when this story was being published.

“The man who was standing next to the door was engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior and was approaching me for sex. Though I refused he kept on insisting me,” said Avanthika to Evartha.

Avanthika also said that the man was a Tamilian and was believed to be traveling to Kanyakumari.
