Vyapam scam; trainee SI found dead in lake

vyapam-scam1Bhopal: Nearly 50 persons connected to an ongoing probe into Vyavsayik Pareeksha Mandal (Vyapam) scam have died, half of them under suspicious circumstances and to add on the toll, the latest victim, a trainee sub-inspector, Anamika Kushwaha, who was recruited through Vyapam, has been found dead in a lake in Madhya Pradesh, reports said.

Three deaths have been reported in connection with the case in less than three days. On Saturday a TV journalist Akshay Singh, who was covering the Vyapam scam, died under mysterious circumstances.

On Sunday morning, Arun Sharma (64), dean of a medical college in Jabalpur, was found dead in a Delhi hotel, while on his way to Agartala from Delhi as part of an inspection team of Medical Council of India.
