Ex MP S Sivaraman quits Congress; returns to CPM

2010020453780401_222707cPalakkad: S Sivaraman, the former MP and Congress leader has resigned from the Congress party and returned to the CPM. He had left CPM to join Congress in 2010.

In a press meet held at Palakkad, he informed media persons of his decision to leave Congress. With hardly few days left for Aruvikkara by poll, this move will put Congress in resistance mode.

Sivaraman added that he is stepping down as KPCC coordination committee member and also as the chairman of SC/ST Development Corporation.

Sivaraman said he tender his resignation as he finds to stay in Congress and UDF that is drenched in corruption.

He was elected to Lok Sabha for the first time defeating K K Balakrishnan of Congress.
