BJP MLA counters with hate speech, threatens to strip Rahul and Sonia Gandhi

Sonia GandhiThe battle of words continue with regard to the upcoming Lok Sabha 2014 elections. For instance Heeralal Regar, a BJP MLA who was addressing a rally in Tonk, Rajasthan threatened to strip Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi and send them back to Italy if the BJP came to power. “Sonia and Rahul Gandhi should be stripped off their clothes and sent back to Italy,” he said.
In a telephonic interview to one of the news channels, Regar apologised for his comment and said he had been misquoted.
Regar said, “I have not taken any name. If anyone is hurt by my comments, I apologise.”
A few days ago, Congress’ Saharanpur candidate Imraan Masood had threatened to “chop Narendra Modi into pieces”, inviting sharp criticism from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which termed the remark as “inflammatory” and sought strict action by the Election Commission.
