Virat Kohli’s fastest 19th hundreds lead India to clinch a victory over Bangladesh

0Virat Kohli became the fastest batsman to score 19 ODI hundreds as he broke the world record held previously by Chris Gayle the star of West Indies team, He took 124 innings to reach 19 tons.
India registered a 6 wicket win in the first Asia Cup match against Bangladesh, which was held on Wednesday at Fatullah, Bangladesh.
Chasing solid 280-run target, India were boosted by an impeccable 213-run partnership between Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane that saw the former reach his 19th ODI century with the help of 16 smashing boundaries and two scintillating sixes.
Earlier, Bangladesh batted for a total of 279 for 7 wickets with the help of Mushfiqur, who smashed 117 off 113 balls, was grounded after being hit on his ribs by a nasty beamer by Varun Aaron, but the diminutive captain showed enough resilience to complete his second ODI century, a first for Bangladesh against India since Alok Kapali’s ton in the 2008 Asia Cup.
